A baby fullmoon is always a joy to celebrate. This family receive another beautiful gift to add to their already lovely home. Some would agree with me that, with such a beautiful gift, I would not mind at all.

I have been trying some new photography techniques I learned thru the internet. Using on-camera flash only to correctly exposed the subject and underexposed the background slightly, we got a more dramatic portrait. I did bounce the flash on the walls at both side. I was quite satisfied with the result.

Of course my little cute model also played a part in helping me to achieve these. She was just lovely and did not mind at all sitting there, waiting for me to figuring out the camera settings and stuff.

Ohh... and one common question I got from most parents was where to go when I suggest shooting portrait outdoor. Well, normally I would tell them a local park or at their house compound, but in this case, the back alley of her grandparents house will also do just fine.

These are some of the photos from the same session but with different kids. Shooting all these kids running around doing their own business was actually quite tiring but in the end looking at those pictures and knowing that their parents will like them, was actually kind of feeling I had achieved something. Enjoy!

A lovely morning is just the right time to start shooting kids/children. They are so energetic and active in the morning. The air is so fresh and cooling that kids and adults alike will not feel tired.

Kids' Paradise

Kids Event @ KizSport & Gym, Bangsar Village II

Kids' paradise I would say. This place is just perfect for any kids if he wants to have a fun filled day without the parents being too worried about their safety. The parents could accompany the kids if they choose to. Little Mandarin House has asked me to shoot some pictures for its pupils while having fun at this playground. It's not easy though, but I had great fun on that day.

Parents play a very important role during the photo shooting session. The babies will feel more comfortable and relax if the parents play and interact with them and as a result the babies will be more natural. This is what I try to achieve. Natural looking shot that does not look too "posed", you know what I mean?

This was taken when the daddy was holding her up and down to get her laughing.

We were using the toy to get her attention... and she did look "hard" on it!

Most of all, the session should be fun, lots of playing and laughing.
